Error Code Explanation

The following are text that will appear in the marquee of the player.

Failed to connect to station - the station selected for playing is not working. There could be a number of causes:

1. It may be due to the station not broadcasting at that specific time;
2. The streaming URL pointing to the station is out of date or is not working;
3. Connection problems with your ISP, your modem, or the network you are accessing;
4. Network congestion or is too busy to handle your streaming request.

Some solution would be to check if you are connected to the Internet properly, whether you have any proxy problems. PureRadio should be able to work thru proxies and should use the http proxy setting. If you are able to surf, you should be able to tune into the stations.

You could go to the station's website to see if they are broadcasting or not. Some stations may suspend broadcasting during certain hours. Also sometimes because of high traffic or demand for a station, it may not be able to maintain or connect to a station, you may want to wait awhile before trying again.

Tuning to "station name", please wait... and
Buffering "station name", please wait... - will show up when you are trying to tune into a station. Upon a successful connectin to the station, the buffering text will show up. While these text are displaying, some functions will be disabled temporarily, once the station is connected (or failed to connect), the functions will be enabled again.

If you have other enquires, please send emails to our technical department.
