Player

AV VCS 5.5 Silver has a built-in sound Player which allows to play back the audio files as well as those that were recorded in VCS Recorder. To display Player, click Player button on the

The following table explains the functions of Player controls.

Player pane:

Seek slider: Indicates the playback progress of the current item. You can move the slider to the place you want to play back.

Volume wheel control: Allows you to adjust the output volume.

Balance wheel control: Helps you to adjust the sound balance between the left and the right channels.

Composition Info display: Shows the currently playing composition information: track No., file name, file type, current playing period, total file time period.

File Info display

Shows the currently playing file information: bit rate, frequency, audio format.

Open from Disk button: Allows you to open an audio file from hard disk drive of your PC.

Play button: Starts playing the currently selected item in the Playlist. If you click this button when an item is playing, Player will start playing it from the beginning.

Pause button: Pauses a selected item. To resume play, click this button again.

Stop button: Stops playing the selected item.

Repeat mode button: Turns on/off the Repeat mode. When the Repeat mode is on, after the last playlist item the playlist starts playing from the beginning again.

Shuffle mode button: Turns on/off the Shuffle mode. When the Shuffle mode is on, items play in a random order.

Select Playlist box: Lets you choose a playlist file to play back. Works with loaded playlists only.

Items List box: Indicates all the compositions of the currently selected playlist: 'Name' and 'Length'. You may use drag-and-drop to add files to the playlist.

New button Allows you to create a new playlist.

Add button: Allows you to add a new playlist.

Ren button: Allows you to rename the currently selected playlist.

Del button: Allow you to delete the currently selected playlist.
Add button Allows you to add a file to the current playlist. You may also use drag-and-drop to add files to the playlist.

Del button: Allows you to remove the selected file from the current playlist.

Move button: Allows you to move the item from the current playlist to another playlist. Works with loaded playlists only.

Copy button: Allows you to copy the item from the current playlist to another playlist. Works with loaded playlists only.
