File Merger & Reduce Vocals

File Merger

Dexster File Merger feature allows to merge several audio files into a new audio file. To access to this feature, click on Tools menu, select File Merger

  1. From the File Merger form loaded, click on Add File(s) button to add some audio files for merging.
  2. Once you have added the audio files for merging, click on New Format tab at the bottom
  3. The New Format area allows to select the output audio format and also the audio attributes.
  4. Lastly, click on the Destination and Options tab at the bottom to proceed to the final step.
  5. By default the output file will be saved in C:\Merged Audio. To specify a new output location, click on the save as... button.
  6. There is an option to play "notify" sound upon completion of the merging process. To turn it off, just uncheck the Play Notify checkbox.
  7. Click on Merge button to start the merging

Reduce Vocals is useful to remove/reduce the vocal sound in an audio file. In order to use this feature, open your audio file from the File menu, Open. Once the audio file has been loaded, click on Tools menu and select Reduce Vocals.
