Export To WMA
Blaze Audio Overdub! provides a fast and easy-to-use, method for converting WAV and MP3 files to WMA files. Windows Media Audio (WMA) files with a .wma extension.
This option allows you to "Export" a Wave/MP3 format file to WMA format.
This actually means that you can convert the data of the Wave/MP3 format file to "Windows Media Audio" format file and save the converted file.
Exercising this option presents you with the "Export Sound to WMA" dialog box, prompting you for selecting the encoding bitrate for Windows Media Audio format, and allows you to save your Wave-format audio files into the compressed WMA format.
The higher the compression bitrate, the better is the quality of the WMA audio, but the larger is the size of the converted file!
Controls on the "Export sound to WMA" dialog are:
"Output WMA Filename" edit box and "Output Format" combo box.
Output WMA Filename:
"WMA Filename" editbox. You can specify output file name and path in corresponding editbox directly or by pressing "Browse" button right to this editbox and changing file name in "Choose an OutPut Flename" dialog.
Output Format:
Here you can Select the WMA Profile. WMA Profile defines the bit rate, in Kpbs, sampling rate, in KHz, and channel into which WMA files are converted.
Choose appropriate Encoding bitrate, samplerate and Stereo/Mono option of output WMA file.
Possible samplerates are restricted by chosen bitrate.
Click the "Export" button to start WMA conversion.
In order to Export audio to the WMA format, you will need "Windows Media codec9" to be installed on your computer.
