Marking Sheets

Sheet settings

Select main menu item "Composition" | "Property".
Activate the "Page" panel in the opened dialog. Option you can change are "Metric" (for units of measurement), "Paper size" and "Margin" from the border.

Staff margins

Set the cursor (keys Left, Right, Up, Down) in the desired staff.

  • Activate the Modify tools panel (using the mouse or the Alt+M hotkey).
    Change the left or right staff margin using the "Increase left offset stave"Increase left offset stave, "Increase right offset stave"Increase right offset stave, "Decrease left offset stave"Decrease left offset stave, "Decrease right offset stave"Decrease right offset stave buttons.
  • Move the staff offset pointer on the top scale of the staff using the mouse.

Intervals between staves

  • Select main menu item "Composition" | "Properties". Activate the "General" panel in the opened dialog.
    In the "Interval" field, set the minimum interval between staves. If the "Align stave by vertical" check box is marked, the staves will auto-allocate in the sheet and the real interval may be more than the defined minimum.
  • Set the cursor (keys Left, Right, Up, Down) in the desired staff.
    • Activate the "Modify" tools panel (using the mouse or the Alt+M hotkey).
      Move the staff up or down using the "Move stave up"Move stave up, "Move stave down"Move stave down buttons.
    • Using the mouse, move the staff position pointer in the left scale of the staff.

Spaces between measures

Set the cursor (keys Left, Right, Up, Down) in the measure after which the adjustment is desired.

  • Activate the Modify tools panel (using the mouse or the Alt+M hotkey).
    Change the space after the current measure using the "Increase space after measure"Increase space after measure, "Decrease space after measure"Decrease space after measure buttons.
  • Move the offset pointer after the measure in the left scale of the staff using the mouse.

Set the cursor (keys Left, Right, Up, Down) in the measure after the measure where the page addition or page break is desired. Activate the "Modify" tools panel (using the mouse or the Alt+M hotkey).

Setting measure alignment style

  • Set the cursor (keys Left, Right, Up, Down) in the desired staff or select notes in the desired staves.
  • Activate the "Modify" tools panel (using the mouse or the Alt+M hotkey).
  • Press the "Measure align style"Measure align style button to set the current style.
    Press the arrow of the button to set other styles. In the opened window you can set the necessary properties for selected staves. If you deactivate (uncheck "Active"), box) alignment style, settings will come from composition properties "Composition properties".
