Composition Tools

Create a new composition

• Select main menu item "File" | "New".
• Press the "New" button on the toolbar. Set the main properties of the music composition in the opened dialog.

Add a part

• Select main menu item "Composition" | "Add part".
• Press the right mouse button in the project window. Select the item "Add part" from the context menu.

Deleting a part

• Select main menu item "Composition" | "Delete part".
• Press the right mouse button in the project window. Select menu item "Delete part" from the context menu.

Changing part properties

• Select main menu item "Composition" | "Part property".
• Press the right mouse button in the project window. Select menu item "Part properties" from the context menu.

Adding a staff to a part

• Select main menu item "Composition" | "Add staff".
• Press the right mouse button in the project window. Select item "Add staff" from the context menu.

Deleting a staff from a part

• Select main menu item "Composition" | "Delete staff".
• Press the right mouse button in the project window. Select menu item "Delete staff" from the context menu.

Changing staff properties

• Select main menu item "Composition" | "Staff property".
• Press the right mouse button in the project window. Select menu item "Staff properties" from the context menu.

Adding a measure

Set the cursor in the measure at the point where you want to add the new measure(s) using the arrow keys (keys Left, Right, Up, Down) or the mouse. The additional measures will be inserted after the cursor.

• Select from the main menu "Composition" | "Add bar".
• Or press the right mouse button in the list of staves and rows. A context menu will appear from which you can choose the "Add measure" item.

Deleting a measure

• Select main menu item "Composition" | "Delete measure".
• Press the right button of the mouse in project window. Select the menu item "Delete measure" from the context menu.
