Project Editors
Project editors provide the basic means for interacting with the various components in a composition project; every open composition project will have at least one open editor. Projects can be displayed in as many ‘editors’ as your objectives require and your computer memory permits
The initial default ‘General’ Project Editor and its key areas are shown below nested within the Main application window:

Component Pane – displays the individual components and their hierarchical grouping order. The popup menu provides access to the component property editors.
Data Pane – displays component events and looping characteristics
Instrument Panel(s) – displays the current performance settings for components having instruments
Other different editors can provide different types of capabilities; some editors are ‘mini’ algorithmic composition programs by themselves. The list of available editors is displayed in the Main Window’s ‘Views’ menu; clicking on one of the editor menu-items will open the current project or the project’s selected components in the new editor.
One editor is always defined as a ‘default’ editor. The default editor is the editor automatically created for each new project.
