Administration
Check for HTTP host details:
When this option is ticked the scanning process with also look for http enabled non windows devices (intended for use when scanning by IP Address)
If the IP Address is pingable and both the registry access and WMI access fail, the program will attempt to load a web page from port 80 on the device.
This will pick up the following:
- The TITLE tag of the web page
- The MAC address (this is obtained by reverse arp resolution, so will only be acurate if the device is on the same subnet as the scanning computer)
- The IP Address
- The host name if available in DNS*
*Please note that if the DNS lookup fails to resolve to a host name the device will not be listed.
Check for SNMP host details:
When this option is ticked the scanning process with also look for SNMP enabled non windows devices (intended for use when scanning by IP Address)
This will scan selected devices using the SNMP communities specified using the 'Edit SNMP Communities' option on the 'Administration' menu, the option will attempt to find basic details about the device such as the hostname and description.
Disable Printer Scan
The 'Disable Printer Scan' option stops the scanning portion of the program scanning for the users installed printers.
Edit Commands
The allows you to extend the 'Tools' section of the program will additional programs of your own choice for easy access:

Please note that %PC% (upper case) will be replaced by the name of the currently selected computer.
The example above would run 'C:\Windows\System32\srvmgr.exe \\Computer' under the user account 'newdomain\administrator'.
Edit SNMP Communities
The 'Edit SNMP Communities' option allows you to add/remove SNMP communities to try during the host scan if the 'Check for SNMP Host Details' option is enabled.
