Menu Description
The main menu has the following submenus:
- File
- Reports
- Service
- Help
The "File" menu has the following items:
- Add computer - Shows the window for adding a single computer to inventory list
- Add computers from IP range - Searches computers by scanning IP address range and adds them to inventory list
- Add computers from network neighbourhood - Searches computers in Microsoft Windows Network and adds them to inventory list
- Delete computer - Deletes computer from inventory list
- Properties - Displays selected computer's properties (you may edit them)
- Exit - Exits from the program
The "Data" menu has the following items:
- Update data - Collects and refresh the information currently displayed on the screen
- Collect data - Collects the specified information from the selected computers and writes it to the database
- Import... - Imports inventory data from offline computers (collected by 10-Strike Network Inventory Collector)
The "Service" menu has the following items:
- Create report - Launches report wizard for generating and saving hardware and software reports
- Create summary table - Launches summary table creation wizard
- Invenroty log - Shows the inventory log with hardware and software changed on network computers
- Settings - Modifies the program's settings
- Inventory log settings - Modifies the inventory log's settings
- Accounts - Allows to add and use several administrative accounts for collecting inventory data
- Language - Selects program interface language
The "Help" menu has the following items:
- 10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer Help - Opens the help window
- Getting started - Shows help on how to start working with the program
- Tip of the day - Opens the Tip of the Day dialog
- How to buy - Describes the process of purchasing 10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer
- Registration - Registration key entry to unlock the program
- Other useful network software - Visit our web site and download other network software
- About - Information about the program
