Alignment

Device icons on the map can be positioned in any random order. The alignment feature allows lining them up.

To align icons:

  • With your mouse, select the group of icons to be aligned
  • Right-click over the selected area and then select Align... on the menu that appears. This will display the alignment window with vertical and horizontal alignment criterions. (See Fig. 1)
  • Select desired options. (Both horizontal and vertical alignment can be selected at once.) Then click OK. The icons will be lined up as selected.

Memorizing network map

While modeling the map and once that is completed, it can be memorized on the maps list (Fig. 1) - not saved to file though - by calling the context menu Memorize map or Memorize map as... (or by pressing Ctrl+M). You can navigate through the maps list by selecting the map you need on the drop-down list or using the navigation keys (similar to Internet Explorer). If a map is not used, you can close it using the button in top-right corner (on the navigation pane).
